The Coastal Walk runs between Shoal Bay and Birubi Point.
The track weaves along the coastline allowing walkers to take in the breathtaking scenery including panoramic ocean views, sparkling beaches and coves, unique rock formations and an abundance of flora and fauna including birds, dolphins and seasonal migrating whales.
I love the rocks deep colours and formations and the contrast against the clear blue waters of Port Stephens. In the distance you can see the golden sand dunes disappearing into the distance.
Coastal Walk is also available on Greeting Cards.

A commission for a friend who was leaving Australia.
When Lois asked for a painting of Corlette, I wasn't sure exactly what area to paint. The Anchorage is a Corlette landmark so I went with a view looking towards the marina.
Turns out that Lois ran this exact location regularly so it couldn't have been any more perfect.
Once again I have included lots of tiny detail such as picnickers in the park and people sun baking and swimming on Corlette Beach.
Corlette is available as a print and also on Greeting Cards.Framing options also available (for more details see below)

I took a photo of this pelican whilst out on once of my walks around the point.
Balancing on one leg, I thought he may be doing a spot of yoga, or perhaps some sort of Pelican dance!
* Only one at this size is readily available at the moment and it can be found at Aura Gift Store - Shoal Bay, Port Stephens.
Visit my ‘Prints’ page for alternative sizes.
Feel free to contact me if you require further information.

Whilst sipping my coffee at the Sailing Club, Mr Percival gracefully glides past along Wanda Beach.
Motoring along with his webbed feet whilst trawling for fish with his huge pouched bill.
Although it may seem overall simple in colours, it's the smaller detail in the beak and feathers that can be quite complex.
Creating the water reflections and ripples also takes a lot of patience... and I often had to step away for a bit!
Many layers later and the full effect comes together.

Waldo was rescued from his mum’s pouch after she was hit by a car and brought into
Port Stephens Koala Hospital.
For over 6 months he was loved and cared for and was a favourite amongst the team.
He has since been released to Cedar Creek Wombat Sanctuary.
As a volunteer at PSKH I just had to make sure that he was added to my Aussie Animal collection of works.

Clyde
This artwork was a commission for a lovely man named Paul who had previously bought Waldo Wombat from me. Unfortunately not long afterwards, Paul lost his home in a devastating house fire.
My Waldo artwork miraculously survived (albeit a little scorched) and was literally the only item salvaged.
I was asked by Paul if I would consider repainting him.
I’m not a big fan of doing commissions (especially being asked to do the same piece again) …. but I felt I had to make this happen for him.
Not long after my conversation I heard about Clyde.
Clyde was a much loved resident of Blackbutt Reserve. Clyde lived a long and lovely life, reaching the age of 22.
Once I saw Clyde’s picture, I just knew those little toofies had to be painted as they were sure to bring a smile!
Clyde is now available as both a Print and Greeting Card.
